箴言 Proverbs

16:1	[bbe]	The designs of the heart are man's, but the answer of the tongue comes from the Lord.
	[hgb]	心中的谋算在乎人。舌头的应对，由于耶和华。
	[kjv]	The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
16:2	[bbe]	All a man's ways are clean to himself; but the Lord puts men's spirits into his scales.
	[hgb]	人一切所行的，在自己眼中看为清洁。惟有耶和华衡量人心。
	[kjv]	All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
16:3	[bbe]	Put your works into the hands of the Lord, and your purposes will be made certain.
	[hgb]	你所作的，要交托耶和华，你所谋的，就必成立。
	[kjv]	Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
16:4	[bbe]	The Lord has made everything for his purpose, even the sinner for the day of evil.
	[hgb]	耶和华所造的，各适其用。就是恶人，也为祸患的日子所造。
	[kjv]	The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
16:5	[bbe]	Everyone who has pride in his heart is disgusting to the Lord: he will certainly not go free from punishment.
	[hgb]	凡心里骄傲的，为耶和华所憎恶。虽然连手，他必不免受罚。
	[kjv]	Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
16:6	[bbe]	By mercy and good faith evil-doing is taken away: and by the fear of the Lord men are turned away from evil.
	[hgb]	因怜悯诚实，罪孽得赎。敬畏耶和华的，远离恶事。
	[kjv]	By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
16:7	[bbe]	When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his haters be at peace with him.
	[hgb]	人所行的若蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。
	[kjv]	When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
16:8	[bbe]	Better is a little with righteousness, than great wealth with wrongdoing.
	[hgb]	多有财利，行事不义，不如少有财利，行事公义。
	[kjv]	Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
16:9	[bbe]	A man may make designs for his way, but the Lord is the guide of his steps.
	[hgb]	人心筹算自己的道路。惟耶和华指引他的脚步。
	[kjv]	A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
16:10	[bbe]	Decision is in the lips of the king: his mouth will not go wrong in judging.
	[hgb]	王的嘴中有神语。审判之时，他的口，必不差错。
	[kjv]	A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
16:11	[bbe]	True measures and scales are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
	[hgb]	公道的天平和秤，都属耶和华。囊中一切法码，都为他所定。
	[kjv]	A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
16:12	[bbe]	Evil-doing is disgusting to kings: for the seat of the ruler is based on righteousness.
	[hgb]	作恶为王所憎恶。因国位是靠公义坚立。
	[kjv]	It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
16:13	[bbe]	Lips of righteousness are the delight of kings; and he who says what is upright is dear to him.
	[hgb]	公义的嘴，为王所喜悦。说正直话的，为王所喜爱。
	[kjv]	Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
16:14	[bbe]	The wrath of the king is like those who give news of death, but a wise man will put peace in place of it.
	[hgb]	王的震怒，如杀人的使者。但智慧人能止息王怒。
	[kjv]	The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
16:15	[bbe]	In the light of the king's face there is life; and his approval is like a cloud of spring rain.
	[hgb]	王的脸光，使人有生命。王的恩典，好像春云时雨。
	[kjv]	In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
16:16	[bbe]	How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! and to get knowledge is more to be desired than silver.
	[hgb]	得智慧胜似得金子。选聪明强如选银子。
	[kjv]	How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
16:17	[bbe]	The highway of the upright is to be turned away from evil: he who takes care of his way will keep his soul.
	[hgb]	正直人的道，是远离恶事。谨守己路的，是保全性命。
	[kjv]	The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
16:18	[bbe]	Pride goes before destruction, and a stiff spirit before a fall.
	[hgb]	骄傲在败坏以先，狂心在跌倒之前。
	[kjv]	Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
16:19	[bbe]	Better it is to have a gentle spirit with the poor, than to take part in the rewards of war with men of pride.
	[hgb]	心里谦卑与穷乏人来往，强如将掳物与骄傲人同分。
	[kjv]	Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
16:20	[bbe]	He who gives attention to the law of right will get good; and whoever puts his faith in the Lord is happy.
	[hgb]	谨守训言的，必得好处。倚靠耶和华的，便为有福。
	[kjv]	He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
16:21	[bbe]	The wise-hearted will be named men of good sense: and by pleasing words learning is increased.
	[hgb]	心中有智慧，必称为通达人。嘴中的甜言，加增人的学问。
	[kjv]	The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
16:22	[bbe]	Wisdom is a fountain of life to him who has it; but the punishment of the foolish is their foolish behaviour.
	[hgb]	人有智慧就有生命的泉源。愚昧人必被愚昧惩治。
	[kjv]	Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
16:23	[bbe]	The heart of the wise man is the teacher of his mouth, and gives increased learning to his lips.
	[hgb]	智慧人的心，教训他的口，又使他的嘴，增长学问。
	[kjv]	The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
16:24	[bbe]	Pleasing words are like honey, sweet to the soul and new life to the bones.
	[hgb]	良言如同蜂房，使心觉甘甜，使骨得医治。
	[kjv]	Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
16:25	[bbe]	There is a way which seems straight before a man, but its end is the ways of death.
	[hgb]	有一条路，人以为正，至终成为死亡之路。
	[kjv]	There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
16:26	[bbe]	The desire of the working man is working for him, for his need of food is driving him on.
	[hgb]	劳力人的胃口，使他劳力，因为他的口腹催逼他。
	[kjv]	He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
16:27	[bbe]	A good-for-nothing man is a designer of evil, and in his lips there is a burning fire.
	[hgb]	匪徒图谋奸恶，嘴上仿佛有烧焦的火。
	[kjv]	An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
16:28	[bbe]	A man of twisted purposes is a cause of fighting everywhere: and he who says evil secretly makes trouble between friends.
	[hgb]	乖僻人播散分争。传舌的离间密友。
	[kjv]	A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
16:29	[bbe]	A violent man puts desire of evil into his neighbour's mind, and makes him go in a way which is not good.
	[hgb]	强暴人诱惑邻舍，领他走不善之道。
	[kjv]	A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
16:30	[bbe]	He whose eyes are shut is a man of twisted purposes, and he who keeps his lips shut tight makes evil come about.
	[hgb]	眼目紧合的，图谋乖僻，嘴唇紧闭的，成就邪恶。
	[kjv]	He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
16:31	[bbe]	The grey head is a crown of glory, if it is seen in the way of righteousness.
	[hgb]	白发是荣耀的冠冕。在公义的道上，必能得着。
	[kjv]	The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
16:32	[bbe]	He who is slow to be angry is better than a man of war, and he who has control over his spirit than he who takes a town.
	[hgb]	不轻易发怒的，胜过勇士。治服己心的，强如取城。
	[kjv]	He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
16:33	[bbe]	A thing may be put to the decision of chance, but it comes about through the Lord.
	[hgb]	签放在怀里。定事由耶和华。
	[kjv]	The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
