箴言 Proverbs

13:1	[bbe]	A wise son is a lover of teaching, but the ears of the haters of authority are shut to sharp words.
	[hgb]	智慧子听父亲的教训。亵慢人不听责备。
	[kjv]	A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
13:2	[bbe]	A man will get good from the fruit of his lips, but the desire of the false is for violent acts.
	[hgb]	人因口所结的果子，必享美福。奸诈人必遭强暴。
	[kjv]	A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
13:3	[bbe]	He who keeps a watch on his mouth keeps his life; but he whose lips are open wide will have destruction.
	[hgb]	谨守口的，得保生命。大张嘴的，必致败亡。
	[kjv]	He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
13:4	[bbe]	The hater of work does not get his desires, but the soul of the hard workers will be made fat.
	[hgb]	懒惰人羡慕，却无所得。殷勤人必得丰裕。
	[kjv]	The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
13:5	[bbe]	The upright man is a hater of false words: the evil-doer gets a bad name and is put to shame.
	[hgb]	义人恨恶谎言。恶人有臭名，且致惭愧。
	[kjv]	A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
13:6	[bbe]	Righteousness keeps safe him whose way is without error, but evil-doers are overturned by sin.
	[hgb]	行为正直的，有公义保守。犯罪的被邪恶倾覆。
	[kjv]	Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
13:7	[bbe]	A man may be acting as if he had wealth, but have nothing; another may seem poor, but have great wealth.
	[hgb]	假作富足的，却一无所有。装作穷乏的，却广有财物。
	[kjv]	There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
13:8	[bbe]	A man will give his wealth in exchange for his life; but the poor will not give ear to sharp words.
	[hgb]	人的赀财，是他生命的赎价。穷乏人却听不见威吓的话。
	[kjv]	The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
13:9	[bbe]	There is a glad dawn for the upright man, but the light of the sinner will be put out.
	[hgb]	义人的光明亮。（明亮原文作欢喜）恶人的灯要熄灭。
	[kjv]	The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
13:10	[bbe]	The only effect of pride is fighting; but wisdom is with the quiet in spirit.
	[hgb]	骄傲只启争竞。听劝言的，却有智慧。
	[kjv]	Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
13:11	[bbe]	Wealth quickly got will become less; but he who gets a store by the work of his hands will have it increased.
	[hgb]	不劳而得之财，必然消耗。勤劳积蓄的，必见加增。
	[kjv]	Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
13:12	[bbe]	Hope put off is a weariness to the heart; but when what is desired comes, it is a tree of life.
	[hgb]	所盼望的迟延未得，令人心忧。所愿意的临到，却是生命树。
	[kjv]	Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
13:13	[bbe]	He who makes sport of the word will come to destruction, but the respecter of the law will be rewarded.
	[hgb]	藐视训言的，自取灭亡。敬畏诫命的，必得善报。
	[kjv]	Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
13:14	[bbe]	The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning men away from the nets of death.
	[hgb]	智慧人的法则，（或作指教）是生命的泉源，可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
	[kjv]	The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
13:15	[bbe]	Wise behaviour gets approval, but the way of the false is their destruction.
	[hgb]	美好的聪明，使人蒙恩。奸诈人的道路，崎岖难行。
	[kjv]	Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
13:16	[bbe]	A sharp man does everything with knowledge, but a foolish man makes clear his foolish thoughts.
	[hgb]	凡通达人都凭知识行事。愚昧人张扬自己的愚昧。
	[kjv]	Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
13:17	[bbe]	A man taking false news is a cause of trouble, but he who gives news rightly makes things well.
	[hgb]	奸恶的使者，必陷在祸患里。忠信的使臣，乃医人的良药。
	[kjv]	A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
13:18	[bbe]	Need and shame will be the fate of him who is uncontrolled by training; but he who takes note of teaching will be honoured.
	[hgb]	弃绝管教的，必致贫受辱。领受责备的，必得尊荣。
	[kjv]	Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
13:19	[bbe]	To get one's desire is sweet to the soul, but to give up evil is disgusting to the foolish.
	[hgb]	所欲的成就，心觉甘甜。远离恶事，为愚昧人所憎恶。
	[kjv]	The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
13:20	[bbe]	Go with wise men and be wise: but he who keeps company with the foolish will be broken.
	[hgb]	与智慧人同行的，必得智慧。和愚昧人作伴的，必受亏损。
	[kjv]	He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
13:21	[bbe]	Evil will overtake sinners, but the upright will be rewarded with good.
	[hgb]	祸患追赶罪人。义人必得善报。
	[kjv]	Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
13:22	[bbe]	The heritage of the good man is handed down to his children's children; and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the upright man.
	[hgb]	善人给子孙遗留产业。罪人为义人积存赀财。
	[kjv]	A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
13:23	[bbe]	There is much food in the ploughed land of the poor; but it is taken away by wrongdoing.
	[hgb]	穷人耕种多得粮食，但因不义有消灭的。
	[kjv]	Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
13:24	[bbe]	He who keeps back his rod is unkind to his son: the loving father gives punishment with care.
	[hgb]	不忍用杖打儿子的，是恨恶他。疼爱儿子的，随时管教。
	[kjv]	He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
13:25	[bbe]	The upright man has food to the full measure of his desire, but there will be no food for the stomach of evil-doers.
	[hgb]	义人吃得饱足。恶人肚腹缺粮。
	[kjv]	The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
